The role of data analytics and business intelligence in businesses has become increasingly important. The lack of skills to analyze large logistical-based organization data sets and the ability to make meaningful business decisions places these skills as key priority areas. This program will equip students with skills to utilize computational tools to enhance business processes. Individuals that are interested in data analytics, big data and e-logistics can apply for either one of the below qualifications. The following module offerings will be offered:.

Minimum admission requirements
An honours degree or equivalent with an average of 60% in a related field.

  • Basic IT knowledge

At the end of the programme the student will be able to amongst other outcomes:
  • Have a specialist understanding of master data management processes in e-logistics i.e. standards definitions etc.
  • Understand, analyse and comprehend the nature and context of decision-making in service-orientated businesses by utilising management principles within the e-logistics domain.
  • Use a data mining package to visualise and explore data patterns for basic predictive modelling.
