Overview

The lack of skills to analyse supply chain and logistics organization data sets and the ability to make meaningful business decisions from large data sets places these skills as key priority areas. The purpose of the programme is to equip students with skills to utilize computational tools to enhance business processes. Individuals that are interested in data analytics, big data and e-logistics can apply for this qualification.

Minimum admission requirements
A relevant undergraduate qualification with an average of 60%.

Optional admission requirements
  • Basic knowledge in statistics
  • Basic understanding of assessing datasets
  • Basic IT knowledge
At the end of the PG diploma the student will be able to:
  • Understand, analyse and comprehend the nature and context of decision-making in supply chain and logistics businesses by utilising management principles
  • Provide a broad understanding of data management and its related disciplines, such as: data governance, master data management, meta-data management and data quality management.
  • Use and apply business intelligence and analytics in solving identified supply chain and logistics business challenges.
